Pilot operation, monitoring and fine-tuning of the operational strategy for Demo#1 will be performed in this task. At the performance verification and trial operations, the metering and control center of Capwatt, which integrates a large number of the assets of the Sonae Campus, will be looked at to potentially do supervision and remote operation of the novel system. After the first phase of performance verification, the pilot AHESS will start operating, being possible to demonstrate and validate the necessary scenarios, not only for short periods but also analyzing the behavior of the AHESS for long periods (weeks, months) and analyze operation seasonality. As this AHESS is inside a real enterprise campus, with different types of assets and consumers (industries, offices, warehouses), along the time the AHESS will be operating subject to different load patterns, adjusting it operational status, considering for example the changes in the factory load, EV loads or in the opposite way, in the PV production. The data of the AHESS will be analyzed during the period of pilot operation and with the information retrieved, it is expected to implement fine-tuning adjustments in the systems, in order to optimize the management of this asset, considering the site needs.
