We’re thrilled to share highlights from the 1st General Assembly of SMHYLES – an exciting European-funded project focused on novel salt- and water-based hybrid energy storage systems (HESS) on an industrial scale. Dates: 2nd and 3rd of July 2024 Venue: TZE, Ruhstorf an der Rott, (DE) Thanks to the TZE Landshut for a warm welcome and being a great host Within our strong consortium we discussed topics like LCA & Techno-Economics, explored digital tools for HESSs, the design, development, and validation of Novel HESS Technologies and Business Planning & Dissemination. A highlight of SMHYLES will form the three demonstrators located in Maia (PT), Graciosa (PT) and Pfinztal (DE). This project receives co-funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme (Grant Agreement No 1001138029). Let’s shape a sustainable energy future together! #SMHYLES #HorizonEurope #EnergyStorage #GridServices #Innovation

We were thrilled to unveil our brand new #SMHYLES Flyer at the #batteriekongress2024, held in the stunning old imperial castle of Nuremberg. The event provided fantastic networking opportunities and a chance to connect with industry leaders and innovators. We were especially inspired by the wonderful speakers, including the coordinator of the recently concluded #HyFlow project, where many of our #SMHYLES activities first took flight. Thank you to everyone who joined us as we explored the future of #EnergyStorage, #GridServices, and #Innovation under the #HorizonEurope framework. Together, we’re driving the energy transition forward! #SMHYLES #HorizonEurope #EnergyStorage #GridServices #Innovation https://lnkd.in/di6DfJqH
